This version was designed for my friend Erik in his favorite colors. Only one item has been made. But, if your name is Erik and you love this scarf, I will make one for you too (and if you have an other name, I'll take it into consideration :)) Just send me a message.

For this beautiful scarf, I drew inspiration from the rich visual language of Berber culture. The design features striking geometric patterns reminiscent of those found in traditional Berber carpets.

Part of Ottimare’s Kahina Collection, the scarf was created with men in mind, yet it is truly a piece for everyone. Anyone who appreciates its character and craftsmanship can wear it with confidence.

The Kahina, for both formal and casual looks

Versatile and refined, it elevates both formal and casual looks, whether paired with a tailored suit or a cosy pullover. Your Kahina scarf doesn’t just complete the outfit; it defines the wearer.

About

the design

Kahina is the nickname of a Berber military leader from the 7th century. Her real name was Lalla Dihya. She led her tribe succeeded for a long time in defeating her enemies. Also today Kahina remains a symbol of strength, independence and determination.
Berber culture lives on, not only through stories, but especially through its art. Women play a central role in this. Examples include symbolic tattoos, handmade expressive jewelry, and textiles. Designs that are passed down from generation to generation.
This rich visual language forms the inspiration for this new scarf collection at Ottimare. Each design echoes the colors and patterns of Berber tradition. Think geometry and earthy tones.
With this collection art, culture, and strength come together.
