What began as a special request evolved into a true showpiece. Captivated by its striking beauty, Ottimare decided to welcome The Leo into the collection.

This long men’s scarf features Ottimare’s iconic Thangka dancers, but with a fresh twist: crafted from a more lustrous fabric and finished with refined, distinctive borders, The Leo stands apart from earlier interpretations of the design. And of course, anyone is welcome to wear it—just be sure to return it to his drawer when you're done.

The scarf is inspired by an original oil painting by the designer behind Ottimare. Her artwork comes to life on the fabric, where dancing figures pay homage to the traditional Thangkas—monumental, hand-painted wall hangings from Tibet.

 Playful and sophisticated

Double layered with subtle handmade fringes on the edges, this scarf adds a playful and sophisticated detail to your outfit. A stylish and sustainable accessory inspired by tradition and art.

About

the design

The scarf is inspired by an oil painting by the designer behind Ottimare. Especially for these scarves, she adapted the original painting entitled Thangka dancers into a pattern in different color schemes. As a result, the spaces at the edges of the painting formed new shapes, which repeat themselves over this beautiful scarf. The artwork comes to life on the fabric in a special way.
